Our comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments are carried out by Steve, a highly experienced Fire Risk assessor who has not only had 20 years experience as a wholetime Firefighter within the Fire Service, but has also operated within the commercial sector for many years now. This education and experience within both professions ensures that he is able to sensibly balance fire safety provision with legal and business requirements. Steve is an accredited Fire Risk Assessor with the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and also holds a NEBOSH certificate in health and safety, so is better able to see the ‘bigger picture’ and ensures that we can recommend control measures, which are compatible with all areas of current legislation.

All our Fire Risk Assessments in Warrington are completely customised to you, our customer. As a result we will provide you with a precise quote for your exact building and circumstances.
One of our trained assessors will visit your premises. They will assess things such as the building condition and age, its structural layout and contents identifying all potential fire hazards, possible causes or sources of ignition and assess any combustible materials and of course all means of escape in the case of fire.
In a workplace, this is the employer and any other person who may have control of any part of the premises, for example, the occupier or owner. In all other premises the person or people in control of the premises will be responsible. If there is more than one responsible person in any type of premises, all must take all reasonable steps to work with each other.
This will depend upon the terms of the lease. The Fire Safety Order applies to any person who has, to any extent, control of a premises. You should ensure your tenants are aware of the Fire Safety Order and cooperate with them to ensure compliance. In multi-occupied buildings, the owner may have a responsibility in respect of common parts of the building and must prepare a fire risk assessment for those areas that is coordinated with those of the occupiers.
